I have taught in Poland before, now am back again, what is the general opinion on native speakers teaching grammar. I never taught it nor did I ever learn how to teach it from the two courses I took, one being from a university. Now I was refused a job from Profi-Lingua in Krakow because I was not familiar with teaching Grammar. Am I royally screwed? |

English Grammar? Spanish Grammar? German Grammar?
That's pretty amazing that you got by without ever learning or teaching grammar, kind of the meat and drink of the TEFL bullshit but hey that's ok, just come to Korea; here very few 'teachers' know grammar, but many are alcoholics! |
