I have been an ALT for a month now and it has picked up some. I have changed schools (I change once a month) and this school has more classes. It doesnt matter how bored I get or how busy I get I it will NEVER compare to the hell of Eikawa...still, after a month, I am eternally grateful for my ALT position.

That's how I felt after a month. After two years though, being ignored and feeling reduced to a monkey/clown didn't exactly work wonders for my self confidence and feelings of self worth. There were days I wished I was back in eikaiwa because I felt more like a teacher and less of a tape recorder. True story. |
