It is possible to save cash in china but its not a real good idea. My school gives housing 3 meals a day so if i wanted i could live for around 100 yuan a month if i wanted to. but i would still only be saving a little over 1000 american a month. I live the good life and can maybe save 2000 yuan a month and spend the other 5000. The 2000 is just going to a travel fund for when i get vacation. If i leave china with any money i did something wrong |

| For short-term work (that is, a contract you can get out of on 30-days notice or less), a language school would be your best bet. The better ones will pay around 10,000 Yuan/month for maybe 30-35 hours a week. You can probably save money with such a contract, because you'll have so little time to spend it. On the other hand, I hear that Korea and Taiwan may offer even more hard, cold cash for similarly grueling work schedules, though I cannot speak for this personally. |
