running dog,

You are very correct about the drinking part. I have never condemmed anyone that enjoys a good drink. I only mentioned this fellow at our first meeting and his attitude when telling about being arrested and having no education. I have many friends from Scotland, Wales and Ireland that are teachers and have excellent higher educations.

As far as my writing tonight, it is almost 4 am here in Ufa and I have had a grand time with friends and a new bottle of Colombian Aguardiente! So I will ask that you forgive my syntax and spelling and ranting as the keyboard seens to be moving opposite to the monitor.

blackcorsair,

You have been told off so often on the Russian forum about your negative attitude and negative ranting that I don't care what you rave on about!

Plenty of the real stuff in KSA.

In fact the good old KSA was number 5 on the export list for Johnnie Walker Scotch.......strange given that alcohol is banned !

Of course drinking is a pleasure of life, but it depends on what type of drink you drink! Water which is not only a pleasure, it is an essential part of life, and without it there is no life.
BUT, I do not see wine, as one of the greatest pleasure of life, and without it you will not die. Wine is like smoking or taking drug, it harm you and your life! Watch your stomach and your liver! Laughing

I wonder what type of art you are speaking about! Wine has an art of illusion, destruction, and cancers of the mouth, larynx, pharynx, and oesophagus, and lung cancer, and heart attack!
Water has an art of life, purification, and body nutrition, especially the mineral water like the Scottish Speyside Glenlivet mineral water! Laughing

BTW, be careful, wine may lead to the cancer of colon!

Not strange at all, Alcohol is banned in public places, but some people including some Saudis, drink alcohol in private, and some have mini fatory of wine at their home. Even I have heard that some of the associates of Uncle Bandar if they want to have an alcohol party just they fly with their private jet on the sky of the magic kingdom were they will have full freedom to enjoy their drink!

007's writing is all over the place...I can only assume he's been drinking something quite a deal stronger than water!

007 is high on strong religion. Not on ethyl alcohol or hashish.

Thoughts for early November (and especially for 007)

Fact 0ne: One day all of us are going to die

Fact Two: With all due respect to those who follow religious proscriptions, if, in this vale of tears, some of us hurry ourselves on our way to the terminus by drinking, smoking, eating fast food and at least get some pleasure en route, what's the cavil?

Fact three: If one day I'm forced to stand before my Maker and account for why I liked to drink a half-bottle of Medoc every night before I went to bed, I suppose I'd defend myself by saying, I could have done a whole lot worse: Trying to assassinate Richard Nixon on the night Apollo 11 returned from the Moon, Throwing new-born babies off sleighs to keep the wolves off, standing up in Speaker's corner to publically denounce Anthony Eden and Pierre Mndes France for their ill-judged attempt to re-take the Suez Canal etc.

Yes, I agree, but, it will depend on how you are going to die!

You make your destiny, nobody forced you to suffer or get some temporary pleasure route. You are responsible for your actions, either here or there, no alternative!

A half-bottle of Medoc is nothing compared to half bottle of blood!
Running Dog, dont loose hope , always there is a light at the end of the dark' tunnel, keep going on as you are, I think, still there is some hope in your heart, hold on it and keep in touch with your Maker. Laughing

Don't know if you're aware of the english idiomatic expression "pulling your leg". Still anyone out there who's female, aged between 25 and 35 and looks like Nicole Kidman in "The Others", (great Hallowe'en fare), then I'll be prepared to pull your leg (and a whole lot more besides) any day of the week.

Since when did concepts like 'supply and demand' not figure in any aspect of the global economy? And, while we're at it, since when did the TEFL market become separated from the global economy?
