...has finally relaunched in Mexico, after a 4 year absence, except for El Universal's unfortunate distribution of the Miami Herald for awhile here.

Note to freelancers...there's work there sending in your feature articles. There's a teacher here in DF who picked up work as a copy editor with The News. He's sold several feature pieces to the Herald previously.

Once upon a time (about 2002?) I applied for a job there and was offered an OK salary for horrendous hours and NO VISA, i.e. work illegally. A co-worker at my then job had sent in some feature articles which were published and was told the payment was the honor of seeing his name in the paper. Crying or Very sad

Hopefully they've picked up their game a little. They did have a good selection of cartoon strips though, if I remember correctly.
