I'm looking to start my Master's programme next year, I would like to konw what employers think about Master's that are from non-English speaking countries.
I'm a native English speaker, but would like to do an on-campus course. Also, with the salary that I'm making, I can't afford Distance learning.

For most employers in the Emirates or KSA an MA should be from the US, UK, Canada, australia or NZ.

There are exceptions to this but I cannot imagine an institution giving much credence to an MA gained elsewhere. My employers insists on academic qualifications form an anglophone univeristy.

I am not saying it is right, just, fair or reasonable. I am just telling you that in the ME employers and students will not give much credence to a degree from an institution that is not in the UK or USA, with the addition of Canada, Oz and NZ, and maybe South Africa.

Try them with an MA from Bucharest or Bombay if you want but do not expect them to hire you.

It is a tough world out there.

I think Ireland mught just about satisfy their rigorous demands. Mind you many Saudis have a strange concept of Ireland. I was assured by one Saudi colleague that approximately 25 percent of the population of Ireland are muslims.
