What are the requirements for becoming an ESL teacher in HK? I'm Canadian. I've worked for a few months in Taiwan, have 1yr College majoring in English and another 1yr in College with computer technology with my TEFL certification.
Thanks! |

HK=Hokkaido? It's the same as the rest of Japan. You either need a university degree (which you obviously don't have), a working holiday visa, or a Japanese spouse.
There's also a very good chance that you should brush up on your reading and comprehension skills. |

Khyron, thank you for the tip on my needing to brush up on my reading and comprehension skills. I do not know if that was an awful attempt at sarcasm, but I'll let it slide.
I clicked on the wrong forum, I meant to post in Hong Kong. Hence, the "HK" that seemed to confuse you. |

I thought it was a nice attempt.

Not "the" wrong forum, but four wrong forums. Someone had to mock you a bit![/quote] |
