any advice would help a lot! i'm currently teaching in Korea and realizing that a year is way too long. I love Europe and would love to work anywhere in Europe that doesn't require EU citizenship. I have teaching experience and a TESOL.

Travelling costs will be your alone because, as far as I know, you have to sign at least a half-year contract to have travelling costs covered (reimbursed, actually) by the school. And that's a lump of a sum when you count. Also, housing conditions apply for longer term staff.

I don't think 3 months are enough to get a full picture of a country as well as explore it. Maybe consider working for a longer period.

Ok. First of all, as a non-EU citizen you are looking at Central/Eastern Europe only. Or Spain, where there are lots of illegals working under the table.

European jobs are NOT generally found from abroad. You would need to plan to come to the country of your choice and pound the pavements.

Most schools in countries in Central/Eastern Europe (Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Rep) do NOT offer travel expenses or cover housing. They will help you to find housing.

There will be jobs around in January - June. There is little/no work in July and August regardless.

Your best bet is a January or September start date. Some schools do offer summer hours but generally they are few and far between. January-June could work.
