I have just arrived in Saigon (they tell me that is what the locals prefer to call it) from a Middle East gig. Talk about chalk and cheese. I have put out a few feelers for positions and have interviews lined up here and in Hanoi.

Here is my question. My daughter is meeting me Hanoi for Christmas and I am looking for some self contained accommodation where we can stretch out and I can provide her with a few home cooked meals, then I will be seeking the same for a few days here before her return. All this to help me decide which end of the country might suit me better.

I have checked the usual websites and done the usual searches, but so far found nothing. Only hotels and a few real estate agents with ridiculous prices. Can anyone direct me anywhere that might be able to assist with short term self contained accommodation? I am not looking top end, just somewhere with two bedrooms or one with a sofabed in the living room, and a kitchenette.

I am getting desperate.
