I went into the ALMANA Hospital in Jubail to get laser surgery on my throat for snoring. No biggie. Usually, they give you the gas and put you out. Then they put the tubes, etc. in and then give you a muscle relaxer to kill you and start the machine and do the operation. Right? No, they didn't give me the gas. They started with the muscle relaxer. I couldn't breath. I suffocated and died. I saw myself on the table as I rose above it I saw smaller images of myself struggling to breathe on the table in darkening shades of Brown. Then out to black and death. The next thing was a flash and they were telling me to wake up, it's over. They skipped a step and I died. I don't think I was in any real danger but I did die.
In short, "It Wasn't fun."
Timothy McVey, who blew up the Oklahoma Federal Building died easier than I did.
Much to many peoples chagrin and dismay Im baaaaack.
The actual operation was a great success and I'm very happy with the results. I just didn't need to experience death. |

Hmmm, well, I've sometimes thought that being in the KSA is a "near-life experience."

Interesting... I've had a number of surgeries and never had gas.
The only time I recall having gas was in the 1950s as a small child when they pulled a tooth at the dentist. I still remember the dream of the tooth leaving my mouth on its own and heading up a tube like a vacuum cleaner.
Your experience sounds very similar to this... a drug induced nightmare...

Gharwell,
Hey there, and now I know why you didn't answer my Christmas email.
You're getting some glib responses, and I'm sorry you've had a rough time of it. Be well, GH
