Hey I am looking at getting a Spanish teacher for private classes in Tulum. Anyone know of anyone? How much do classes generally cost in Mexico?

Sorry we haven't been able to help this time, but I for one haven't heard of any teachers on this board from Tulum - we are not ignoring you! Very Happy

Tulum is mighty small...maybe you'd have better luck in Playa. At least one poster here works out there.

I haven't been to Tulum since 1990. And then it was just a tiny village next to some really beautiful ruins.

Plus Spanish teaching is not really our area of expertise. I did one get a reume from a Mexican English-Spanish teacher in Chetumal...
... I may still have his contact information if you are interested.

Once you are in Tulum, you should have no trouble getting leads on someone who can give basic Spanish lessons.
