Hi,
Does anyone know where to find good camping equipment in Japan, or specifically Osaka?
Sports Depo is great... in summer! They have a massive range, but most of it has been taken up by snowboards now. |

yes, the stores totally change according to season (one day its all ski stuff the next its all camping and golf)
"Alpen" is a chain store that has a good range of camping stuff (its all over Japan and often on main roads)
another one that comes to mind is Halmac
there are specialist stores too |

| I'm not sure which sporting goods stores are in Osaka, but if you don't mind used gear the Off House chain may have something. I bought a tent there. |
