After one receives the hard copy of a release letter, are there any ramifications if property is neglected?

Yes, they could call the police and have you arrested for destruction of their property. I've seen it happen once already.

You've got the release letter, you're golden. that's what it is after all.

You mean like the pet snake that one laowai left in the fridge (or some kind of critter)
Now if they still owe you some money, they might try to squeeze you

I guess Trish misunderstood your meaning "neglect"

A school calling the police??? What, they are going to take you to arbitration??? And have officials hear what you have to say about the school?.

You've got the release letter, you try to get most of the money they owe you, and that's the end of that
Now if they still owe you some money, they might try to squeeze you claiming this or that.

Care to be more specific on the neglected property??? I hate what it's doing with my imagination

Sorry. I experienced a moment of levity. It doesn't happen often in this cold.
