I have only started for looking for a new opportunity in teaching in the Arab countries.

I have read many theoretical articles about education there but it does not help in finding the employer.

Which employer would be good for me to send my resume, taking into account that I am a non-native speaker, have Ph.D in linguistics from non-English speaking country (which is certified as Ph.D, however, in Great Britain), Master's degree from the USA and more than 15 years of EFL teaching at the university.

Female, married, have one child.

Thank you.

Instead of berating you for not reading the boards, for not using the search function, for not actually looking up your own information, I will provide you an easy link that has lots of different schools in the UAE.

I'll assume you can actually do the research if pointed in the right way.

advice... with your credentials, you should be considered by most of the better employers. That would include the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), Zayed University (ZU), American University in Sharjah (AUS), and UAEU - their national university. You can find plenty of information about these places by doing a search here.

I suggest that you go to the TESOL conference in New York City next month and put in your CV to do interviews there. (or send them to them now and suggest an interview there)

Your biggest hurdle is to show that although you are not a native speaker, your skills are good enough for them. Middle East employers and their students prefer native speakers, so they will want to talk to you in person if they can.

Sorry... didn't mean to skip your place. Will they be at TESOL in NYC?

VS,
I don't believe they're sending anyone to NYC, but they are recruiting at TESOL Arabia.

By the way, those large class numbers in the fall drop dramatically in the spring.
