|
|
Hi everyone,
I am thinking about going to Japan next year, however I am only eligible for the working Holiday Visa.
I heard that I would get taxed 20% of my earnings?
Can I get most of this tax back?
And,
can I Work over the set hours? ( i think it's 18 hours a week)
Thank you in advance!

It depends on where you're from, and what sort of agreements your country has with the Japanese government.

That would be illegal, so... no. Do not count on doing illegal work. |

I have a working holiday visa
Yes you can work more than 18 hours a week
Their is no limit i went down to the immigration office in tokyo
if you really wanted you could for 160 hours a week, minus the breaking the laws of time
o Tutor on the side, its how you meet hot girls and make some decent money on the side. You couldnt afford to live in tokyo working 18 hours week. tutoring is not going to be taxed |
