Hi everyone,
I arrived in Lima last week and Im currently pounding the pavements with my C.V. More than likely, Ill go for the easy option and work for institutions on my tourist visa. However, Id also like to open a bank account here. Will the likelihood of me working illegally make this difficult?
Also, as a new boy in town, I dont know many folk here yet. Though Ive enjoyed meeting those Peruvians I have so far, labouring my nominal Spanish is frazzling my brain & I yearn for a conversation in English. Would any charitable souls out there fancy meeting up for a drink sometime?
Thanks, Kenny |

Try BCP or Interbank for bank accounts, heard you can open one with a passport. I might be able to meet up, but just got in and am waiting for jetlag to set in |

Ok, thanks. Let me know when youre re-established here. And please, bring along friends as well. I need to get into the loop a wee bit more here.
