I applied for a job with them a while ago and turned it down because they said they wouldn't show me the contract until I got there, which in itself is dodgy.

I was willing to give them a chance though and so a few weeks after a I turned it down I thought I'd give them a shot anyway and told them I'd be willing to trust them regardless of the contract if I could find something good about them on the internet. They never replied to that email and I also posted on this forum and someone replied saying that it wasn't a good school.

Also during the application process and the sending of various emails they quoted a salary of 14,000RMB to me....And then it went down to 12,000RMB in the next few emails.

I could be wrong and it could be ok, because all I know is from my application process with them and what one person has said on this forum, but if they refuse to show you a contract then I think that's a bad sign.

"Linguaphone offers flexible, convenient and pleasant working conditions. Full Time teachers work a 40 hour work week. 26 50 minute periods are scheduled for face to face contact the rest of your day is used for preparation."

He,he. not so good if you have to live somewhere like Shanghai with the local cost of living.
