I believe the OP was referring to the ability to obtain a 'date', not the odds of sharing his genetic material on aforementioned 'date'.
In some countries 'nice' girls are sometimes told to avoid 'dating' foreigners (obvious from our aberrant skin color, or lack thereof.) Given the number of scumbags who teach English for lack of other marketable skills, this is not always an unfair generalization. (Has anyone read the Vietnam threads?)
I can't count how many times I've just wanted to talk to a girl and she thought it was an amorous pursuit in progress. One example- it never occurred to her that I really just wanted to learn about producing films and television!
To restate the question, what are the odds of dating locals? Or shall we be banished to expat bars watching sports on satellite vs. drinking alone at local bars? |

This is complete crap!
It's in line with the shite you drink in Thailand - Singha and Chang.
Horrible beer!
If you want good beer in East Asia, head to Japan.
Enough said. |

Then how was it then that you came to get a job here in Taiwan?
If they let you in, then that means it's pretty much a wide open field. |

Such a nice and constructive comment.
You obviously hold Taiwanese people in high regard but try to hide it through insults.
Excellent tactic. |

Toe Save hasn't posted here for months. (The post you quote is a year old.) What's the point of making a such a crude and pointedly personal comment to someone who won't even read it? What's the point of making it at all? |

I wish you'd go back to Australia. Taiwan is a worse off place with your kind here, "Mate."

Australia?
Never been there.
Now that we know that, do you still think Taiwan is better of without me? At least I drink the beer here. What do you do?
Your power of observation amazes me. Australia? LOL |

| Don't use difficult words on this thread. It is difficult to comprehend for some. Scathing is way to difficult for people who are aptly described by such a becoming word. |

I guess I am TOO guilty TO plead innocent to that error.
