I can give you a beginners course right now, no fee...
1. Learn composition.
2. Learn composition.
3. Lear...ha ha, really.
If you have no idea what I'm talking about - are you sure photography is the right hobby for you? |

Yes, I know what composition means. And I know the obvious things about composition like don't take a photo of someone in front of a pillar so that it looks like the pillar's sticking out of their head. But I'm sure there is much much much more to it than that. Plus I'm sure there's other things to learn too, even if composition is the most important of them, for example lighting. That's why I'm interested in doing a beginners course. So, if anyone has any info I'd appreciate it, thanks! |

rd8277,
Are you familiar with flickr.com? I often use it to look up a topic or place I'm interested in and there are some wonderful photographers on the site. I often see a composition or angle I like and try to figure out how it was done and what I like about it. Not nearly as good as having someone just tell you what to do but it may be helpful.
Good luck,
