When I start work in Kuwait this year, I gather that I will need a Temporary Drivers Licence in order to drive shortly after arriving. How much of a hassle is it to get one of these?
I have the chance to buy a car from a returning expat. If I bought the car and then decided to sell it, would this be a problem - is there a second-hand car market in Kuwait?
Finally! How do car prices in Kuwait compare with UK prices?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

If you are going to visit Kuwait, you can drive on an International License.
However, if you are going to work, it is not possible to acquire a Kuwaiti driving license until one has a Residency Visa and a Civil ID, which can take up to 12 weeks to obtain.
