| Don't know about the rest of Japan, but it seems like I'm seeing a little less of the rock star hair and ultra-tight-fitting clothes on guys in and around Tokyo. If the trend keeps up, buying mainstream clothes might not be as painful as it has been. |

Success! Mostly!
I found a tommy hilfiguer top I like (which is not really my style but it was cool I thought). However, I found a store I like in Parco in Sakae. I forget the name of it but it is in the east/blue (I think) building on the 3rd (maybe) floor. They have skate, surf and generally trendy gear just like I wanted. I bought a couple of shirts and found shorts I really like but someone bought them from under my nose. The stuff was a bit pricey, but not insane.
Seriously though, thanks everyone. I know I can just keep going to that shop every month or so and keep stocked.
Still no luck on shoes, however I did find a store that has some big sizes. I forget the name of that store as well (mega something or other), but it is a big store across the road (or close by) loft in Sakae. They had something of a big shoes section with sizes going up to 32 centimeters or some such. They didn't have anything I liked, but odds are they will eventually. My current pair have holes in them and water gets in, so hopefully it doesn't take too long.
Thanks everyone. |
