I studied abroad in BsAs and miss it immensely. I'm hoping to go to Japan or Korea in the fall (probably Korea) so I can save up some money and start to pay back my student loans, but I'm thinking that (if I can save up the money by the end of this school year, I graduate in June) then maybe it'd be good to get TEFL certified first, and it seems that it'd be not so expensive to do so in Argentina.

So now I'm thinking... Why not head down to the good ol' BA in June to get TEFl certified and try and teach just through the summer, before shipping out to Korea.

Beyond a TEFL certification course I wouldn't have much money to get my feet on the ground, probably just a few hundred bucks...

for those of you that have taught in AR, do you think my idea is at all plausible?

You'd propably need more money than that for rent, etc.. to back you until money starts coming in..

June-July here is winter. You'd have to be sure to let your employer know that you're not staying until end of November, when the school year normally ends.. Teachers are expected to work until the end of the year.
