Hi

I have a job offer with the Cambridge English school in Hawally and I was wondering if government insurance (coverage) as part of the contract is good... Is that ok for medical and dental or is government insurance bad?.. not sure how health system works over there.

wait to see doctors, bureacracy = get referrals for specialists, more waiting
system ok for routine , non-emergency care
don't expect highest standards of care or efficiency

Government insurance coverage shouldn't be part of your contract. By law, it's granted to any resident of Kuwait. Go to the public hospital, show your Civil ID, pay 1-2KD and that's it.
