Hi,
I gave my interview for Senior developer position for royal air force of oman in india on 16th april 2008.That time they asked me to sign on the paper for grade 6 position. The interviewer told they will inform with in 3 weeks. now after a month over nobody communicated the result so far. I wanted to know how much time it takes for the whole recruiting procedure and wanted to know how is the job it is secured or risky. Please let me know your views ASAP.

Are you aware that this is a website for English teachers? Hiring for teachers is very likely done by a different department which may have different procedures and time lines.
Right now you are only a week over what they told you, but as windstar says, they tend to be very slow. If you were given a contact email, I would send a query in a couple weeks.
