				| Someone mentioned 5 are American. And that now there will be zero, since there weren't many to begin with. |

				| Four of the eight are American and one American teacher (not part of the eight) has decided to leave, so five Americans are leaving in total - but only four of them have been fired. Now, there will only be two Americans left. |

That rather goes without saying... it would be almost impossible for them to 'not renew' an Omani. The only possibility would be a promotion.

Do they appear to be targeting Americans or native speakers?

"Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward."

Kurt Vonnegut

So this ones for fun laughing in an absurd situation no option really nature hates a vacuum, perhaps thats why Nizwa CoAS is so moody these days ALL technicians away for two weeks, system crashing all around, HOD away, coordinators astray yet more teachers resigning the faade falling slapstick down clown make-up getting scrubbed off the big act about to be sealed with a round of pop and handshakes the get real memo censored from the minutes more marks teacher sure how many do you want dont mark me absent teacher no problem, you were even in on holidays I failed all my exams and coursework but somehow I passed the course gee isnt wasta (I mean education!) a wonderful thing thanks for the text books that were never provided- thanks for the e mails and letters that were never answered thanks for the offensive nicknames I was called what a way to end a puzzling relationship it could have been puzzling for longer but the message is now as clear as the red-for-danger nose on Ronald McDonalds face its junk food Ma! its a toxic charade staff are being asked to eat some weird muck that nauseates the mind and soul - and a certain other university in another country is up to its neck in it. |
