Just had to write, regarding previous threads about food you can't find in Mexico.
After nearly 7 years, I found in Walmart, (Felix Cuevas, Col. del Valle, DF):
FRESH COD FILLETS!
I feel sorry that most Mexicans only know the dried version, soaked and then cut up into such small pieces and with so many other things (a la vizcaina), that you can't taste it.
Homemade Fish 'n' Chips this weekend - with mushy peas (I found a recipe on the Internet).
The best F 'n C since.... two weeks ago! Congratulations to the Sir John A Pub in Ottawa - some of you might know it. |

Now, will you be having a cup of tea with that, or a pint of the good stuff? Damn I'm jealous!
Sorry about Leeds last weekend |

A good bottle of Argentinian red. Not traditional, I know, but delicious! |
