I've been teaching in a private school in Karachi for over 20 years. I teach O level English Language, O level English Literature and something called Pakistan Studies geography, also to O level.
I'm qualified with a B.Ed but I would like to know if there is any chance of a job outside Pakistan as an O level teacher?
Most posts I've applied for need National Curriculum experience, and follow GCSE not GCE O level.
Thanks. |

Hi
O'levels are still taught in Brunei - check out www.cfbt.org
I think they are also still taught in Singapore.
Hope this helps. Good luck! |

On that Singaporean note, it's possible that Malaysia might hire someone with a British-type education background. You might check if there are international schools or university prep schools that would be interested in your credentials. Good luck! |
