Wow, aren't there enough animals on the loose in DF? Not hard to find...they usually drive BMWs and answer to the call junior.

I was just planning to talk to the animals ( a la Doctor Doolittle), but if anyone is thinking of freeing them, perhaps we'd better bring some bail money Smile .

Enough bail money for both sets of inmates, the ones caught and those about to get caught.

A "junior" is the male counterpart of a "fresa".

Hey sweeney, it'll be great to have you join the group at the zoo if you're back by the 5th!

I'm a bit of a late-starter! I've been following this forum for a wee while, and now that I'm back in Mexico City it would be really nice to meet some fellow teachers. Is the meeting time and place still noon tomorrow outside the Reforma Ave gates?

Hey there,

I will be arriving the 2nd. If you don't mind, I think I'd like to try and join you on Saturday, provided I'm not freaking out about my classes that start on the 7th. (My first real ESL gig ever).

Smile

Also, going to the zoo will prepare you for many of the noises you will hear in your classroom if you are teaching in a prepa.

Aggh, once again, I can't make it. MO, feel free to pass on in person to the participants (especially those whom I had the pleasure of meeting in person last time) my more detailed excuses which I wrote you about.

I guess it goes without saying that any photos posted after the event will have to be captioned carefully and accurately so we can tell the participants from the exhibits. Or not, for comic effect Smile

Have a great time! Wish I was there.

I'm so sorry that you won't be joining us tomorrow Sad To make sure that we'll have the pleasure of your company on the excursion after this one, we should let you organize it on a day when you're sure to be free.
