Do you know of any English speaking travel agents that I could use to reserve a flight? I'm not currently residing in Japan, so it would have to be by email or telephone. |

I don't know where in Japan you're planning to be.... But if you're in Tokyo, No.1 Travel is very good... Very foreigner friendly and they have good deals... They have a branch in Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Shibuya and Yokohama.
Check out their website for contact information:

I've used, and my family has used, IACE Travel:
http://www.iace-usa.com/html/english.html
U.S. Branches:
NEW YORK, BOSTON, CHICAGO, ARLINGTON HTS., WASHINGTON D.C.,ORLANDO, ATLANTA, DALLAS, COLUMBUS, SEATTLE,
LOS ANGELESLAS VEGAS, HONOLULU, ORANGE COUNTY, SAN DIEGO, WEST LOS ANGELES, VANCOUVER, DETROIT
The phone numbers for each branch are listed on the site. I don't know your location, but I've used the L.A. office before: TEL:310-445-1401 / 888-393-4223
OK, in the spirit of accuracy, "West" Los Angeles. |

If you can read Japanese, then this is the best one:
http://www.ab-road.net/osa/
It's like a google for travel agents. If you type in your details it will list alll the deals that agents are offering. |
