They will earn as much as a Team leader. How can the people you are suppose to train earn more than the trainer???.....go figure

There were already a number of imminent signs that the program was going to fail spectacularly beforehand.

Their incompetence in processing MAG arrivals and extreme disorganization/miscommunication in the various administrative departments.

The sloppy handling of new teacher transition into arab administered schools that were mostly hostile and suspicious of outsiders

The ridiculous hassles in dealing with local school administrative figures and MOE "standards."

The theoretical joke curriculum that was designed by people who had pretty much no experience in a classroom.

Then finally the leaving of the head of the program and replacing them with a local and a group of incompetents who will just run it into the ground.

Oh and did I mention that since the end of last year MAG was bleeding tens of millions of dirhams on IT infrastructure that never got any productive use?

I doubt the UAE will ever figure out what standards mean because they have none. In the long run it will matter but in the short term oil is about $140 a barrel. Their kids will be fine for awhile, so let the good times roll!

WOAH, I would hesitate to make such sweeping statements about MoE teachers, but then again I wasn't in that school to witness it.

There seems to be some discrepancy depending on gender. I know my male colleagues were in a constant state of frustration over the low quality/unprofessional attitude of the MoE teachers, while my female colleagues were overall very happy with their MoE counterparts.

Regarding fixing the marks, I didn't experience anything of the sort with my MoE teachers (that was actually mostly done by the PPP provider's marking scheme). In some instances though, there were one or two that would consistently give the girls a lot more credit for an answer that was due, but I would attribute that to the generally compassionate attitude of these individuals towards the students, not for any kind of personal gain.
