Sorry, my fault. I assumed that applying for a Lebanese passport would only take a week or 2. I discovered otherwise.

I believe we can see here why some people might prefer Ozzie to Levantine citizenship !

very nasty posts of zeke; no substance, condescending palaver instead;
don't excuse yourself, Aymenz;
old Latin saying goes as follows: excuse= accuse, so, to put it crudely, if you excuse yourself you accuse yourself; [ my Latin too rusty to express it in original];
Good luck Aymenz,
balqis

Dear balqis,

Dum excusare credis, accusas.

When you believe you are excusing yourself, you are accusing yourself.

One of the benefits of an old-style parochial school education.

John

Thank you, johnslat.
Will try to remember as find the adage a very useful rule of conduct.
Greetings to you and Aymenz,

i am not writing an essay zeke, i am posting on a forum. the uni that gave me my BA is one of the leading providers in Australia. one would assume that it's not necessary to re read their postings on forums for grammer mistakes as they are not marked.

thanks for picking faults in the post instead of replying with information i could actually use. your input was very valuable.

Good on ya, Aymenz! You'll find that there are several "veterans" of this forum who relish finding fault with others' posts. Just sift through garbage like that, because there are others who will provide valuable insights.

Good luck.

And yet three of the "veterans" who replied here - Stephen Jones, Cleopatra, and 007 - all offered helpful advice whereas the one poster who was singled out for "picking faults" isn't much of a "veteran" having only 112 posts (number 966 on the posting list.)

John
