I was wondering if anyone had any advice on looking for where to take japanese courses. I would like to take some courses to work on my speaking and for jlpt 2.

Specifically I guess somewhere in West-central tokyo (Shinjuku area) would be best, but any advice/place to start would be great.

Schools advertise in Metropolis magazine. I posted a sampling a few years ago:

Only the second of those schools linked in the above post ( http://www.learning-japanese.jp/ (English > http://www.olj-academy.com/index_e.html )) appears to offer the JLPT Prep courses, but there are bound to be more schools around that some might be able to recommend (NB: I haven't attended OLJ).
