I would like to share my experience with you. I found an Arabic speaking person and showed him the offer letter from KAU. He translated it for me. After that, we called the Cultural Bureau of Saudi in Ottawa. Here is the story.
We were told by the Embassy in the first hand that my dependents are not listed on the offer. Accordingly, visa should not be issued. Now, it has become clear that the offer letter does not mention any names, instead, it states "spouse and all children" are allowed to come on the same visa and their tickets will be paid by the university.
Now, it seems everything is fine and be careful, if you receive an offer something like that, don't just go with its English version, check its Arabic. Because in my case, English version was totally wrong, including the visa number and salary.
