Hi,
I'm very interested in this post!! Got cable last year to find out that Astro bought sole rights, was about to get Astro this year and now they've lost it too!

If anyone has any idea or hears, please post or PM ASAP.

I don't know the answer, but sports bars such as Aphrodite and the like are still screening them. So maybe hit them up for the magic answer.

First the Olympics and now the soccer. Maybe suicide bombing should be a sanctioned sport and televised live throughout Indonesia. They might be able to afford the rights to that. Seriously though, it is another step backwards for a country that is regressing year after year.

Yep, it looks like 'Aora' have the sole rights this time. Which means another 3 months tying to get through to their 'customer service'; only to be told that in fact the company HQ is on Mars.

Crazy s**t again.

Btw, hate Aphrodite and would much prefer to watch in the comfort of my own home and not spend 200 grand on beer to watch 1 game - but thanks for the info.

Even more desperate footy fan.

Has anybody managed to subscribe to Aora yet?

They've taken out ads in the papers today insisting that they legally acquired the rights to the Premier League and that they obtained their broadcasting license legally.

By the way, they have a website, and it actually appears to have been proofread! For the bored or curious: http://www.aora.tv/

OK....news about the football/? I have contact Aora on their website...
You have to pay 1 year in advance,,,1.7m. They have other programs, but nothing interesting, so I have just changed from Astro back to Indovision tonight...Indovision will connect within 24hrs. Aora will connect you within a week for Premier football. Indovision will show the England game with Croatia tomorrow..I'm feeling a bit better now....enjoy

Check local station TV-One. Apparently, they've managed to get some rights from Aora to show the games.
