Hi everyone, i have accepted a job with an english first school and they seen eager to get me there for a mid september start, i have recieved the required paperwork for a z visa and filed for it accordingly, but the school seems to be dragging its feet on signing a contract. I have not been provided with one till i asked and still have not recieved anx information about disciplinary procedures or medical insurance. Am i supposed to have a contract signed by both parties before i leave or do people usually go over and sign over there? Thanks! |

Although I can't be certain, my thinking is, if they went through the trouble of providing you with what you need for the Z I'd say they're intentions are of a serious nature. Don't sweat the contract, you'll get it signed after you arrive.
Just understand were talking EF, hopefully you've read up on them, and your going in with eyes wide open!

When should you sign a contract with English First? The simple answer is NEVER! They are the ultimate ESL corporate sweatshop. Their foot dragging and evasive attitude should be an omen for you. Didn't you use the search function here before considering them? |
