um, yeah...paying tuition to an unaccredited institution is probably not the best idea. It is absolutely amazing to me that there are so many people who do that.

That's not a problem with online degrees, that's a problem with getting an unaccredited degree. |

I'll second what's already been said. It's not a problem with distance study. It's a problem with not doing your homework. By which I mean looking into anyplace you're contemplating spending your money and finding out what they're all about.
What I don't understand is why the various regulatory agencies don't control the advertising a little.
But I also don't understand spending thousands on a course without first researching it.
