um, yeah...paying tuition to an unaccredited institution is probably not the best idea. It is absolutely amazing to me that there are so many people who do that. Rolling Eyes

That's not a problem with online degrees, that's a problem with getting an unaccredited degree.

I'll second what's already been said. It's not a problem with distance study. It's a problem with not doing your homework. By which I mean looking into anyplace you're contemplating spending your money and finding out what they're all about.

What I don't understand is why the various regulatory agencies don't control the advertising a little.

But I also don't understand spending thousands on a course without first researching it.
