I just received my email informing me I passed the interview today. I interviewed in Hong Kong on March 31st.

I just received an email saying I passed the interview. I had my interview in Vancouver on March 19th. I wonder how long it would take for them to check everything out. Any ideas?

According to posters here who have been through the whole process already, you shouldn't expect a job offer until June or even early July.

However, they also said not to expect confirmation that you even passed the interview until May, so the timeline for this year may be moved up somewhat. I wouldn't start getting anxious until the end of June based on what they've said.

For those still wondering about NET jobs....

I just signed my contract for my job today. School starts tomorrow, but I won't assume my post until Oct. 20th.

My application was delayed due to nobody checking my references for a long period of time, so it was later than most. According to the NET office, over half of all schools had already found their NET by the time they finished my reference check and they finally started to send out my CV. That was around August 15th.

However, just today I got an email from another school still looking for a NET.

Can you state on here what the other school is for those who are still looking.
