Having arrived in Kuwait recently, I have not yet found out where the best places to buy things are located. I assume that you cannot order something like a printer 'on line' like you can in the UK.

I have been to several stores and was disappointed by the high prices and limited choice of printers.

Any ideas on this?

al ghanim might have them - safat al ghanim on 4th RR
OF COURSE you can order it on line and have it shipped here but watch the voltage and plug shape
much cheaper here anyway
jesus, come to think of it, this question is not worthy of dave's (no offense) couldn't you have asked your school secretary or any local working at your place of employment

again, no offense, but people come into kuwait only talking to teachers of their nationality , if at all, then complain about kuwait on the internet.
i am not inferring you are like this OP but come on - make some friends/acquaitances, reach out at your school and beyond

i am getting punchy - first, how do i get a used car from a poster who already posted about shipping a car ...... and now this, NEW TEACHERS TO KUWAIT for christssake don't rely on dave's to get a printer or a car, ask your coworkers at your school - ibintheredonethat - i KNOW some coworkers are not worth talking to but let's not clug up dave's with 'little shit' pm me, i'll give you my mobile number and so instead of typing this i can yack at you directly - and give you advice, after all i'm 15yearsinQ8
