Hi,
I live in Bangkok now and am thinking about applying for jobs on Japan. Would I have to go home to America before I could get a visa for Japan? (and no, i won't apply to jet!)
Thanks,

No. You can apply from where you are, and the Certificate of Eligibility will go to your employer first, then to you. At that point, take the COE to your embassy in Thailand to finalize the paperwork.
Or just come here first. Getting hired is the first step. Applying for the COE is the second. |
