Hola!
I will start a new job teaching University students and young professionals for a private school.
The format is this, I have to bring up a topic for discussion. Can be about anything. I can talk about elephant farts if I wanted to and the class goes along. I do a presentation on the topic and then put some questions on the board. Then I and another teacher split the classes into two or three small groups (depends on size) and speak about the questions on the board.
I do want to make the class interesting. I also want to do a "warmer" to start to get the students talking. Where is a good place on the ESL internet to give me ideas on how to do this?
Any suggestions appreciated.

G'Day Senor,
This past term, I used Chinas future in 20 years...Environment, Economy, Political Changes, World Leadership Role and Social Changes. We all know they are in for these changes and the uni level students got a blast out of expressing their opinions on these topics. Good luck. |

Congrats! This sounds like an ideal job, actually, as far as age range and employer type goes.
I don't want to spoil this new job with a nitpicky question, but I'm curious as to how your visa situation and release letter from the other place worked out. You did indeed take a new job, as I suspected from the previous post!
Cheers,
Steve |
