Hello again -
As an extension of my other topic, it seems that Global Links tutors does a fair bit of recruitment/placement for jobs in the ME region.
In South Korea, we generally warned people to stay away from recruiters, for various reasons, and deal directly with the schools and/or school's foreign teachers. But that may not be the case here.
Does anyone have experience with GlT? Good, bad, otherwise? First or strong 2nd-hand much appreciated; by pm if you don't feel comfortable responding here.
As a related note, might I be better off waiting for the TESOL recruitment fair in Dubai in Feb.? Well represented? Good opportunities there? I am not worried about my credentials/ability to sell myself to a school, but I am guessing it would be a not-too-cheap option to fly in, stay, attend the fair, and fly back out again. But I do have enough time to save/plan, if it seems worthwhile & I start now . . .
