Hi,
I am newbie. I was working in Saudi Arabia from 1995 till November 2007, When I took Final Exit from my previous employer (without NOC) and got Immigration of UK, but now wants to come back. I have several offers but I am not clear whether NOC would be necessary for any visa to be stamped from Pakistan or not???? I will appreciate if someone could shed some light on the issue.

Since you immigrated to UK, why get you visa stamped from Pakistan? Have you lost your UK immigration status?
It is much better to get the visa stamped in UK instead of Pakistan.

Anyway, you do not need the NOC if you spend more than two years outside the magic kingdom.
The other option is to get a new passport and you won't have any problem.

BTW, if your immigration status to UK is under HSMP, then you may loose it if you stay outside UK more than 1 year! Check the new UK immigration rules.

Thanx 007,
I am on HSMP visa, but been redundant since August 08, and there is no job at all available in UK Job market due to the recession. As a result I am not only loosing my salary but also at the end of two years period I wont be able to show enough points under my income. So I would be loser in both cases if I stay back in the UK, but if I opt to choose to go back to my previous job at least I would be able to earn my monthly salary.

Any how, its only one year since I left from KSA on final exit, Although I know the fact that the law has been long amended in 2006, which says that there is no need of NOC any more, but its implementation world wide is not been completed so far and still few embassies around the world requires to fulfill the NOC obligation prior to any work visa stamp.

Thats why I want to know from any one who experienced the same scenario, that whether embassy in Pakistan still requires NOC from the person who got final exit a year ago and wants to come back?

Put the passport in the washing machine. And do it quickly because the Saudis are talking about using fingerprints to stop people coming back on second passports.
