i want to go to bangkok for a month to train muay thai. my gym is in bangueeruea, so i'd like to find a place around there, but i'm not sure how. it doesn't have to be a nice apartment...i don't even care about a tv...all i want is a clean place with a bed and a bathroom. can anyone help me out? |

Although I'm based outside of Bangkok, apartments in Thailand are usually advertised by signs at the end of the sois. Helps if you read Thai but you can ask around. If there are apartment buildings near where you want to live -- ask in those -- some might be free. Motorcycle taxi drivers are another good source of information (on numerous subjects - not just apartments). If you don't speak Thai, you may require the assistance of a Thai-speaking friend. rompo mansion has a thai boxing gym and accomodation.
Not sure where your gym is, but rompo is a good place to stay, has diff types of rooms for various budgets.
