Thanks everyone! You've been so much help . . . we all need to be there for each other.

I have Christmas Day and the day after off, so I will get on this inmmediately on Monday by seeing my FAO and getting what's already in my account.

I didnt save so much, but I left China with around 16,000 RMB and simply changed it at the HK airport. I dont know what the limits are...but if its a real concern I would say to keep visiting the ATM each day and taking your money out...and take it home with you!

If you were already in HK, this makes sense, but to leave China from HK seems crazy.
