MM,
You may have read that come September, we're getting a 15% cost of living (or some such) pay rise. That caps salary for instructors at about 16,000.
I believe the salary is based not only on experience but experience since acquiring the MA. I don't know how much recent MA's receive. The housing and other perks are the same but the salary is less. A person in that category will have to volunteer the information. |

| Are there hospitals near U of S which are hiring nurses (RNs)? How many? How big? |

Now heard that the cap will be just over 17k for instructors with 10+ years post-relevant MA. Getting better! |

There is one hospital five minutes from campus, but it seems that its nursing staff are all either Fillipino or Indian, and although they may be highly qualified, the pay no doubt stinks.
There are some western type hopitals nearby in Dubai that may have western nurses who are paid western type salaries. There's the American Hospital and Well Care. |

| Although I was offered a job at U of S, I decided to go back to HCT where I know the ropes - or I thought I did. I now regret my decision. I should have taken up the offer and not worried about the campus being so far away from town. A big mistake to go back to HCT. Never go back to a place unless you can trust them 100%. |
