Is anyone here currently working or has worked in Puerto? I have just arrived and am looking for a job, preferably teaching children, any help?

No help, but there is a university there that hires foriegn English teachers, it's called UMAR. Even if you didn't want to work there, I think it would be worth stopping in for a visit and meeting the teachers, they will have a better idea about the local scene.
Just ask any taxi driver to take you to UMAR. At the gate tell the guards that you want to visit the "Jefe del Centro de Idiomas". |
