Quebec is a province, by the way Very Happy , employment will depend on your country of origin and possibly your age (as it may qualify you for a working holiday visa).

If you're American you might want to look into www.swap.ca and follow the "swap to Canada" link. There is also a language-assistant program provided by the British council for UK citizens. Whether or not you can work legally also depends on your qualifications.

If you have gone through immigration...the options aren't that great anyhow!

There are tons of people who emigrated from North Africa and other countries to Quebec based on their French knowledge who would now like to learn English, or rather, need to learn English in order to work or to move to other provinces. The Quebec govt does its best to discourage this, such that French classes are funded and English are not. And there are many English-speaking Canadians around to fill the positions in the language schools. So there is a market, but there is also enough supply.

The public French schools barely provide English instruction.
