Yawn, weak sarcasm on Dave's. Whoda thunk it eh?

I really have very little interest in, or knowledge of, Thai politics. All I know or care about is that this fifth-rate sleazy scribbler knowingly broke an (admittedly ridiculous) law, and did time in jail because of it. The protestations that he was unaware of the law, apart from being irrelevant (what's that line about ignorance of the law being no excuse) are extremely unconvincing.

As I've said, I'm happy that Nicolaides has been released, but I really have very limited sympathy for those who choose to flout the law in foreign lands, assuming that a white man's passport will save their skins.

Nice one, Trapezius! Laughing Her Majesty will be livid.

Lived? I hardly think so. Rather I'm once again bemused at the fact that two sad b********s have so little in their lives that they get their kicks out of coming on discussion boards for no purpose other than to make incredibly weak jibes at women they have never met.

I'm also rather concerned at the fact that neither of the above, despite the fact that they make their living as English teachers, is capable of understanding what genuine teachers refer to as 'hedging phrases' (among them "as far as I know" or "I'm no expert, but everything I've heard indicates to me").

But then, even the most elementary critical analysis is not something one expects from somebody who nods dumbly at everything Mark Regeve wants them to believe at any given point in time.

No, your majesty. I wrote ''livid''. It means angry. I am not a sad b****** and I doubt that Trapezius is one either. How do you know what we have in our lives?
BTW, I notice from your other posts that you can't spell ''definitely''.

Well, your lives are of no more interest to me than any of the many other dull, interchangeable male posters who populate this board. My assumption - and perhaps you can prove me wrong on this - is that if you frequently come onto a board dealing with ESL in a country you always say you never want to return to, for NO purpose other than to try rather vainly to make 'digs' at other posters, you don't have a whole lot of 'other' entertainment options at your disposal.

Or is it just that you enjoy the type of behaviour which most people grow out of before they hit double digits? Please tell me because I'm dying to know.

If our lives are of no interest to you, why do you refer to them in your posts?

It's one thing to be 'interested' in an anonymous ESL teacher's 'life'.

It's quite another to be rather bemused at the fact that said 'life 'must be rather a dull one, given the repeated display of puerile behaviour on this board.
