I've been keeping all my wages stuffed under the mattress for the past six months.

It's getting a bit lumpy, so I thought I'd take advantage of the exchange rate and convert my Riyals to Pounds Sterling.

Where's the best place on the East Coast to do this?

Dear matthew156,

Clearly no one has told you that stealing is non-existent in the Kingdom. And those who are caught (all foreigners, of course) get their hands (well, the right hand anyway - I'm not sure if it's the left hand for left-handers) cut off.

Regards,
John

I can NEVER be the left hand, John, as it has a special purpose! Laughing

Dear NCTBA,

"I can NEVER be the left hand . . ."

Sure you can. You've dealt with enough cr*p.

Regards,
John

Yours truely,

Matt

Um, Matt...do you know what the left hand is traditionally used for over here? If not, parse out John's latest offering! Shocked

If you want cash - as in used fivers - there is ONE place in Eastern Province that beats them all. Al-Amoudi in downtown Khobar. Now closed on Fridays, as I learnt to my cost last weekend.

If you want to transfer money either use your bank (about 100 SR) or go to SPEEDCASH in downtown Khobar. A transfer through them is 50 or 60 SR. That is to the UKofGB&NI or the Free State. Not sure about USofA,.
