Hi all - it is great to be able to finally ask people with ME experience a question:
I am thinking about coming to the ME. Is it common for applications to ask for your passport number on the initial application? That kind of practice seems a bit fishy to me. I've applied to King Fahd U in Dhahran, but others have asked as well. Any experiences? TIA

Yes, it is. I also didn't like it, but it is standard.
